My thirteen reasons to work harder

Do you ever feel like you are too tired to do more? That you just want a break from work and sleep all day? Or that you don’t want to look at another screen for a few hours? I know I do. There are days when all I want to do is lay on my couch and food delivered, and not move. And there are definitely days I allow myself (balance) but overall, I have to remember all I set out to accomplish.

I want to be the person who:

  • wakes up ready to conquer the world
  • who has a purpose
  • who is looked at as an inspiration to others
  • who doesn’t give up even when the day is hard
  • who believes that I can do it
  • who knows more is possible
  • who works harder to make a difference
  • who loves more
  • who shares kindness
  • Judges less
  • Allows feelings to be a part of life but not consuming
  • Gives myself when needed
  • Is selfish when I need more for me

And when things are a pain in the butt, I try to remember that there’s so much more I want to do, and sitting on a couch isn’t going to get me there.
